Since 2018 Hollister has also been in collaboration with Uptico successfully establishing stores in the European market according to the new “L. A. Store Concept”, either by opening new stores or by converting existing stores. The store design is characterized by an open, bright concept with an open technical ceiling, a light-flooded glass façade and various floor types, either in raw concrete or wood look. The California-inspired look-and-feel includes typical beach elements such as surfboards, colorful carpets or gray-painted furniture and product displays.
With a separate sales area within the Hollister stores, another A&F subsidiary label – Gilly Hicks – which sells lingerie and loungewear, will also have its own independent store concept.

Outcome

As the lead planner, Uptico has been for 8 projects responsible for all planning services for the A&F customer in the areas of architecture, building services engineering (MEP), statics and fire protection – starting with the inventory of the future store area, through design and approval planning, to the planning documents and documentation for the executing companies.
