At the beginning of 2019, the Italian fashion company Benetton wanted to open a new store at Königsallee 83 in Düsseldorf, not far from the previous location, on an area of approx. 700 sqm, with a new store concept, which has already been presented in several other European cities.
Benetton commissioned Uptico as the local architect for this new, strategically important location. Uptico was responsible for all necessary approval planning, including fire protection and statics, as well as coordinating the official approvals. In order to minimize the economic loss of time between the closure of the former branch and the new opening, Uptico not only optimised all planning and construction processes in terms of scheduling, but also coordinated them precisely with the customer’s team and the executing general contractor.
